What is Italian Incubator?
Italian Incubator is our foundation course, perfect for a complete beginner or an advanced beginner, with gaps in the foundations.
It's the first step of the "La Trilogia" that makes up Italian Campus.
It is followed by Italian Accelerator, Ripasso and Italian Momentum.
Is Italian Incubator the right program for me?
Italian Incubator is for you, if you are a beginner, an advanced beginner, or even an elementary level student who feels that their foundations are a bit shaky.
If you feel advanced enough to start from a higher level program, take our placement test and let's find out!
When are the lessons happening?
Every week you will get access to a new weekly unit!
The lessons will be accessible on our Incubator platform and you will be able to go through the unit at your convenience, as long as you complete the lessons in 7 days.
After 7 days you will submit your assignment (compiti) and we will have a live lesson, the Grammar Clinic, to answer your questions!
When is the Grammar Clinic and what if I can't be there live?
The Grammar Clinic will take place on Tuesdays at 5 pm Italian time!
If you can't make it (so many students are busy professionals, or live on the other side of the world!) you can ask your questions in advance (!) on the platform and watch the recording.
When are the Pausa caffè conversation meetings?
Pausa caffè are small conversation groups where you practice the course topics we are working on together with 2-3 other classmates.
You will schedule the meetings with them at a time that works for everyone!
How much time do I have to dedicate to the course?
You decide how much time you can dedicate daily or weekly.
It's completely up to you. Our recommendation is at least 30 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week. But if you can do an hour or two, that's great!
Don't forget the weekly and monthly reviews!
How do I get feedback on my "compiti" assignments?
During the active phases of the course we have weekly assignments on the platform.
If you submit them on time, before the deadline, we will correct your text (or video) and share feedback.
Compiti submitted after the deadline do not get feedback, but it is still important to do the work!
What if I need to go on vacation or miss a few weeks?
You can take time off during the Incubator journey, and you will be able to catch up on everything, even if you miss up to 3 weeks of the course.
While you are catching up, you will be able to participate in the Grammar clinics, or ask your questions, even if they are from the previous weeks!
However, you won't be able to get feedback on the assignments if you miss the deadlines.
For how long will I have access to the lessons?
You will be able to access the lessons on the platform and the recordings until July 1st 2024, or as long as you are part of the 7-week Italian learning journey.

I have been you.
Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned learner who has mastered every aspect of the language, I have been where you are now and where you are headed.
Just like you, I started from scratch.
Because before I became an Italian language and culture expert, an Italian interpreter, translator, and teacher, I was a 17-year-old girl who fell madly in love with the sound of this magical language and decided to master it perfectly and become Italian.
Whatever it took.
I quite literally dedicated the rest of my life to reaching this objective and then helping others do the same.
For years I’ve been painfully aware of the imperfections of the traditional language teaching methods, that throw information at you in the hope something would stick, that never provide tools for retention and see just the language and never add the learner to the equation.
I’ve been looking for an alternative, and when I couldn’t find one, I created it.
I had to build the plane while flying it. 🛫 But you don't have to.
I’ve distilled years of academic studies, language studies, and research into the holistic 3D Method™, and poured my heart, soul, and decades of experience of both learning and teaching Italian into creating my programs.
Today, together with my wonderful team, I guide my students towards fluency through a structured step-by-step Italian language journey that equips them with the right tools, techniques, and most importantly, the right mindset.
We helped over 10 000 students from all over the world to make their "Italian" dream come true.

Great learning experience
After some months of Duolingo, I was looking for a way to step-up my Italian skills. I came across Tania's 3D Bootcamp and decided to register. I enjoyed the holistic view of learning a language, similar to my way of learning languages in school. I really enjoyed the experience and liked the passion and dedication of Tania for her method and students. And I thought: if not now, when? So I decided to enroll and I am very glad I did. Coming home to Italian
Il metodo 3D ha superato le mie aspettative. Lo consiglierei soprattutto a chi è cresciuto con un po' di italiano durante l'infanzia, ma ora non è in grado di parlarlo. Learning Italian by "becoming" Italian
So happy I signed up for Tania's 3D Method Bootcamp and discovered her research-based approach to adult language learning. I had been studying Italian on my own for several years using apps and online courses and had hit a wall. My reading and writing were improving but I didn't feel confident speaking Italian and I had difficulty comprehending native Italian speakers unless they spoke very slowly. Tania's holistic approach to learning Italian includes embracing its history and culture to better understand its structure, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Finally! An approach that works!
The concepts of this holistic and comprehensive approach are quite solid. So much rings true to methods I have used in the past for learning other things. In addition, much credit goes to Tania. Her obvious expertise and authentic style are motivating. I have tried MANY other systems for learning Italian, and I gained a little bit from each. However, I knew none would ever make me fluent to any degree. I am confident this is a real beginning to be able to truly converse in Italian. Just wish I had learned of this course years ago.

Fantastic learning experience!
I joined the 3D method bootcamp to see if this teaching style would work for me. I have tried other teaching methods and it was not a good match. However, the 3D method worked very well. It was challenging as any new language can be but the ecosystem helped me greatly with organizing myself for a better outcome. The instructors were fabulous and very supportive. Having a small motivated group to meet on the regular and engage in class activities was wonderful. I look forward to continuing my Italian language journey with the 3D method.

Outstanding!
Bootcamp and Incubator Live were much more than I expected. They were thorough but intense. I had to be very serious about learning, completing the work, and studying daily. I organized my space as recommended and followed the program as closely as I could. I am so much farther along in 7 weeks than I was after 400 and plus days using Duolingo, which I am still doing as additional practice. Would highly recommend the 7-week Italian and the 3D Method. Also, Tania's book is excellent.
